Levy of Execution

The levy of execution is used by the creditor to obtain debts he/she is entitled to from the debtor. These debts have been previously asserted by means of a (legally binding) writ. First, it is necessary to determine if and where the debtor owns assets which are distrainable or might be claimed in other ways. It may also be the case that the creditor is confronted with debts in the form of writs which cannot (or can no longer) be collected without further action.

I represent clients during a levy of execution as well as while fending off unwarranted claims.
