Frauke Meta Luxa studied in Mainz and Berlin. She did her practical legal training (Referendariat) in Neuruppin und Norrköping, Sweden. While working at the Tingsrätt Norrköping (court of first instance), she got to know Swedish lawyers and was able to learn the Swedish legal terminology.
After completing her legal training, she was admitted as Rechtsanwaeltin (German lawyer) in 2006. She then worked for a huge law firm with more than 200 lawyers as well as for a medium-sized law firm focusing on Scandinavia. During that time, she gave legal advice and represented clients (also in court) during real estate transactions and levies of execution. She also worked in the fields of general civil law and company law. After 3 years, she founded her own law office in 2009.
